My quick takeaway from #Dreamforce day three: work is changing, get on board!
Stop thinking of Slack and other collaborative tools as add-ons to the work and instead centre their usage in how teams share knowledge, create solutions, and engage with each other.
Create a single source of truth for your organization and make everyone use it – no exceptions. Take time to teach people how to use the tools, but don’t let them bypass using them because it’s too hard or requires a different way of working.
And, finally, the frame of reference has changed. It’s no longer about getting back to the way we worked pre-pandemic. It’s about creating dynamic and flexible work experiences so the team can meet challenges as we all move forward.
Hearing all of this, I’m glad I pivoted to the #Salesforce ecosystem this year. I don’t want to go back to the old ways of working, and building on my #nonprofit knowledge, I’ll be able to support many more teams who feel the same. Let’s get to work!
